Vision

Service starts here
Gango enables worldwide efficiency, transparency and fairness in service sourcing and acquiring. Gango matches service requesters and suppliers globally on local address base and supports users during the request, offering, contract and feedback rating processes. Gango knows who, where, what, how, when and at what prices searches or offers.
Vision starts with history - from gopher to gango
There was a time before the internet. And then gopher was born! Modern science and engineering leverages old visions become true. The information age started with the http revolution and resulted into an incremental evolutionary progress. Some call it now web 2.0. Gango takes the next step! Our vision of a better world is as old as mankind, this vision is on the verge of becoming reality. Computer Sciences and Information Technology have been instrumental in changing the global markets. The local service markets however have been slow to adopt and profit from these paradigm changes. One of the most important reasons is the evidence of local Geographics. Most Internet Platforms do not sufficiently support localization for leveraging local services. Gango addresses exactly these issues.
Gango makes people work together
While the web 2.0 connects people perfectly in social networks, in our vision we go a step further and make people not just  talk to each other but much more work together. Beside exchanging just the peoples needs in the form of  service requests, in our vision the service trading and rating mechanism is essential to evaluate the offered answers.
Gango is the most human and fairest form we can imagine of a global service market place
References and ratings are key to success. Due to its rating and reference mechanism, Gango provides service providers and service requesters with quality and reference information to support both parties in descision making. Never before it has been easier to inform about the performance and quality of a trading partner.
Gango is  a global trading platform for local service needs
It is hard to find competitive deals in the local service market. Today, yellow pages, ad services and search engines slowly adopt localization and geographic map support but fail to deliver any negotiating and trading mechanism. Finding potential service providers and requesters is just one part, but selecting and dealing with them is the other. On what grounds do you negotiate with service supplier or requester ? And how can you be sure you've made the right choice?
Gango knows who, where, what, how, when and at what prices searches or offers
The service market today is still a far cry from transparency. Who, Where, What, How, When, How Much and in What Quality - no other service and no other technical system supports you with all of these decision parameters and delivers the best match in reasonable time. Gango was built exactly to address these needs. Gango computes information about service seekers and suppliers to find the best matches and supports you in your decision with artificial intelligence and a service-quality rating mechanism. Gango is the only service that was built language, currency, timezone and location independent and therefore is ready to trade local service needs world wide.
Gango stands for Efficiency, Transparency and Fairness
Gango supports people and organizations in sourcing, supply chain management and contract acquisition by organizing information about the service market efficiently, transparently and fairly for all parties. Gango is our answer to Adam Smith's capitalism. With gango we intend to reduce uncertainty and asymmetry in information, to leverage efficiency, transparency and fairness for all market participants and thus hope to provide a system that enables all players to find a better Nash-equilibrium to hopefully leverage global welfare.
Gango implements our technical vision of local based services in the social Web 2.0 mash up.
Gango is geo coding and geo tagging all service requests (submissions and auctions) and services in the gango Yellow Pages with HTML geo tags to make them searchable by geo enabled search engines and thus hopefully also soon visible in google maps. We implemented version 7 of the IETF HTML geo tag draft. And plan to support the IETF HTTP geo header draft as well as googgles KML. Meanwhile we are working on an accurate geo location for our anonymous users based on their IP address. Stay tuned for more ;-)

Our vision of the next generation semantic Web 3.0 service starts here!
